A Haunted House is a 2013 American parody comedy film directed by Michael Tiddes and starring Marlon Wayans.[3] It was released on January 11, 2013.[4][5] The film is a parody of the "found footage" genre, such as the Paranormal Activity and The Devil Inside.
During interviews to promote the film, Wayans explained "it's not exactly a parody" but rather a movie with funny characters doing the opposite of what typical people do in similar horror films.[6][7]
A sequel, A Haunted House 2, was released on April 18, 2014.[8]







Ted is a 2012 American comedy film directed by Seth MacFarlane in his feature film directorial debut. The screenplay by MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin, and Wellesley Wild is from MacFarlane's story. The film stars MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and with Joel McHale and Giovanni Ribisi in supporting roles, with MacFarlane providing the voice of the title character. The film tells the story of John Bennett, a Boston native whose childhood wish brings his teddy bear friend Ted to life. However, Ted prevents John and his love interest Lori Collins from moving on with their lives.

The film is MacFarlane's feature-length directorial debut,[2] produced by Media Rights Capital and distributed by Universal Pictures. It was the twelfth-highest-grossing film of 2012 and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song.

A sequel, Ted 2, was released on June 26, 2015.

Synopsis

Years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a 2016 fantasy film directed by David Yates and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. A spin-off of the Harry Potter film series, it was produced and written by J. K. Rowling, in her screenwriting debut, and inspired by her book of the same name. Set in 1920s New York, the film stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander with Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Ron Perlman and Colin Farrell in supporting roles. It is the first instalment in the Fantastic Beasts series, and the ninth overall in J. K. Rowling's Wizarding World, the franchise that began with the Harry Potter films.
Principal photography began at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, England in August 2015 and was completed in January 2016. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them premiered in New York City on 10 November 2016 and was released worldwide on 18 November 2016 in 3D, IMAX 4K Laser and other large format cinemas. The film received positive reviews from critics and it has grossed $812 million worldwide, making it the eighth highest-grossing film of 2016. The film was nominated for five BAFTAs, winning for Best Production Design, as well as two Oscar nominations at the 89th Academy Awards winning Best Costume Design, becoming the first film in the Harry Potter franchise to win an Academy Award.[6]
